RoadShowThe Road Show...

is a promotional tour organized and directed by Macker Headquarters. This is our attempt to help Local Organizers kickoff their promotional campaigns in their cities. The objective is to introduce the event, highlight local business and charity partners and recruit teams for your city’s upcoming Macker Tournament.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s Nick Nick Ponders the meaning of Macker life on the Mississippi River. Nick does his best impersonation of Leonardo Dicaprio.
Gus is fired-up about visiting the Exchange Club of Quincy Gus and Art talk about his favorite hoop shoes. Scott visits Mae and Jeff for “wardrobe” consultation at Schuecking’s Men’s Wear Store in downtown Quincy.
Gus meets with “Quincy’s Finest” Leaders . . . our Exchange Club Macker Chairman, Steve Green (left) and the Mayor of Quincy, John Spring. Kirk Frageman gives Gus tips on taping courts. Gus and Kevin Curran (HeadBuster) put the finishing touches on plans for the Quincy GusBuster Program.
     
 
Gus and Quincy’s founding father, Mike Lavery. Gus courts the women of Quincy . . . the Girls Basketball Team from Quincy – Notre Dame High School (32-2 Record and 4th in the State).  
     
     
Dr. Joyce “The Queen of Ironton” and Rich discuss March Madness and their Final Four Brackets. Rich and Scott visit the world renowned “Unger’s Shoes” in downtown Ironton. Joe Unger, front and center, is the owner, along with his sister, Mary. They are making the world a better place to live and wear fine shoes! “Doctor Joyce” Lynd and Jodi “Row” Row-Collins meet at Buffalo Wild Wings to discuss plans for the Ironton Macker – May 17-18.
 
Scott and Rich bond with the “Lunch Ladies” at Wurtland Elementary School in Kentucky, while they promote the Easter Bunny and the Ironton Macker. Rich and Gus recruit more teams at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Ironton.  
   

The Macker Road Show stops in Olean NY . . . squirrels are everywhere . . . they’re everywhere . . . . . . . . Keiffer Madness, Gus and John Irving spend some time with the squirrels between School Assemblies . . . . we’re concerned that Keiffer Madness may just stay in Olean . . . he’s “nuts” about the squirrels!!

Keiffer Madness and Gus stop at St. Bonaventure University to visit the statue of their idol . . . “Bob Lanier” . . . . those are some tall shoes to fill boys!!!!!

The Road Show tour took Gus to Jamestown, NY. While there he took the opportunity to visit the ice area to practice for his pairs figure skating competition . . . that Gus he’s always on the “Cutting Edge”!


Gus is All-Fired Up after eating his Goat Cheese Omelet at the hotel in Jamestown. . . . .
