Our Gus Macker tournament takes place in the heart of historic Downtown Champaign Our tree-lined streets dotted with historic buildings provide the perfect atmosphere for a street ball tournament. With West Side Park on one side of the courts, and the bustling downtown area on the other, you’ll find more than just basketball during your stay with us!

The tournament itself is set up along historic State and Church Streets, while food, activities, and registration are set up in West Side Park. See 2007’s map for details. Check back in June for the 2008 event map!

Nutrition @ Work / i-Power is the official sponsor
of the 2008 Dream Court experience!

Come Dream With Us!

The Macker Driveway DreamCourt is a special event within the event that captures the appeal of the original McNeil family driveway, where the common hoopster becomes a star on center court.

Macker officials and Nutrition @ Work and iPower representatives will randomly select teams to visit a specially designed red, white and blue All-American themed court.  The experience includes bleachers, synthetic court surface, team benches and sound stage.  The contest is announced by expert play-by-play and color commentators with the goal of providing the ultimate fun, family environment.

Thanks to Nutrition @ Work and iPower, this “Dream” experience is an opportunity to give those teams, not normally on the Top Court, a memorable, “special” Macker moment.  The DreamCourt game targets youth, but all ages are encouraged to play.

Gus Macker limits the number of traveling DreamCourt events scheduled so to have a DreamCourt as part of the Champaign Gus Macker tournament is truly an honor and a wonderful opportunity to give participants an experience they will never forget.

The DreamCourt experience is limited only by your imagination.  A SPECIAL THANKS to Nutrition @ Work and iPower who hve helped fund and create a one of a kind event complete with decorations and giveaways that everyone will remember for years to come.
