The Belding Gus Macker Tournament  August 4-5, 2012

Gus Macker hits the streets of hometown – Belding!

Once again, basketballs will bounce through the streets of downtown Belding – the hometown event of Gus Macker Basketball!  The tournament will take place on Main Street Belding with activities slated for all ages. You will experience 3-on-3 basketball at its best as well as special events and activities for everyone including the ever famous “Dream Court”!  This Hometown Family Festival welcomes players and spectators of all ages.  

The Belding Gus Macker benefits multiple local community groups, mainly raising funds for the youth-based athletic programs at Belding Area Schools. The other charity organizations are the Belding Police Reserves, Project Graduation, Belding Area Arts Council and the Local Food Pantry….this the Macker’s attempt to “help our neighbors” with food and clothing assistance. The fundraiser is titled “Foodfurhoopin’”. Get your team together, support your local charity and plan to join us for this “hometown hoop” experience.
