Mt. Pleasant/Central Michigan University is the “academic home” of Gus Macker Basketball.
|
After an extremely successful inaugural year in 2009, Gus Macker returns to Mt. Pleasant and Central Michigan University with a new and improved festival for 2010. As the educational institution of Macker founder, Scott “Gus Macker” McNeal, this year’s event is moving from the parking lot of Kelly Shorts Stadium and Rose Arena to the “academic driveway” between historic Finch Fieldhouse and tradition-filled Warriner Hall. The overwhelming majority of volunteers will be CMU’s very own students. Please plan to join us as we offer the first outdoor Macker of 2010!
The Mt. Pleasant / Central Michigan University Macker benefits the new Events Center at CMU. This new facility will hold 5,300 comfortable seats for athletic events, concerts, speakers and commencement; a dedicated practice gymnasium and a 10,000 square foot lobby and reception area. This first class complex will shine as the signature facility on the south end of campus.
