The Gus Macker 3-on-3 Tournament return to the Truax Campus of Madison College in 2012. This year’s tournament promises to be full of highlights including: 2 full days of basketball action, slam-dunk and free throw contests, numerous food and product vendors, youth activities and more. Proceeds of the Madison Gus Macker Tournament will benefit The Salvation Army of Dane County Community Center programs.

For over 110 years, The Salvation Army has offered spiritual ministry, social services and youth programs to thousands of Dane County residents. We continue to serve people throughout the year with shelter, food and other emergency services. Our Darbo Community Center also offers a variety of programs and services for children and teens such as tutoring, mentoring and recreational activities.

Last year, we assisted over 32,000 people by serving over 285,000 meals and providing 52,000 days of shelter.

Each year over 12,000 volunteers help us to make life better for the people of Dane County and we continue to rely on many generous donations to continue our mission.
